Omaha, NE.—The body of a 24-year-old Lincoln woman missing for the last few weeks has been found, according to the family’s Facebook page devoted to her search.
Sydney Loofe, who is originally from Neligh, was last seen Nov. 15 near Wilber, Nebraska about 40 miles southwest of Lincoln.
Last week authorities identified two “persons of interest” in the woman’s disappearance. The two, 51-year-old Aubrey Trail and 23-year-old Baily Boswell, then posted a video denying any involvement. Trail and Boswell are now in custody on charges unrelated to the Loofe case.
Late Monday night the Loofe family issued this Facebook statement: “It’s with heavy hearts that we share this most recent update with you all. Please continue to pray for Sydney and our entire family. May God grant eternal rest unto thee. We love you Sydney.”
We are told that the FBI and local law enforcement agencies will hold a news conference at 9 o’clock Tuesday morning.
