BEATRICE – A stuck throttle apparently led to a motorcycle accident that injured the Gage County Emergency Management Coordinator, at around 5:30 p.m., Tuesday.
Beatrice Police report 47-year-old Timothy Stutzman was pulling his motorcycle into a gas station along Court Street when the throttle apparently stuck, on his 1986 Kawasaki. Stutzman laid the bike down to avoid striking a building.
He was taken to Beatrice Community Hospital for treatment of injuries. He was later transferred to a Lincoln Hospital for further examination. Stutzman was wearing a helmet, during the accident.
There was about $500 damage to the motorcycle.
