Marysville, Kansas Motorcyclist Killed in Collision Near Frankfort

BEATRICE – A Marysville, Kansas man was killed when his motorcycle sideswiped another vehicle Friday afternoon, five miles south of Frankfort, Kansas.

The Kansas Highway Patrol says 32-year-old Nathan Lock was killed in the accident, which happened at around 3:15 p.m. on Kansas Highway 99.

Investigators say Lock’s 2007 Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling south when he drove left of center, sideswiping a northbound car driven by 21-year-old Katheryn Gregerson, of Herman, Nebraska.  The impact ejected Lock from his motorcycle, and the bike was then struck by a second northbound car, driven by 20-year-old Laura Edelman, of Sabetha, Kansas.

Lock died at the scene of the accident.  Neither of the drivers of the cars were injured.  Both were using seat belts.  The car driven by Gregerson entered the east ditch and came to rest on 22nd Road.  The car driven by Edelman came to rest on Kansas 99.
