Marshall County is Prepping for the Worst, Shelters are on Standby

MARYSVILLE, KS – NCN’s Elise Waller spoke with Marshall County Emergency Management Director Bill Schwindamann says “we aren’t out of the woods yet,” and is advising that residents stay off the roads. As of 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, no power outages were reported.

Both the City of Marysville and Marshall County have been working hard to keep roads clear, but side streets and parking lots are still icy.

Local shelters within the county are on standby and prepared for the worst.
