Man Facing Child Pornography Charges, Bound Over to Gage County District Court

BEATRICE – A 29-year-old man has been bound over to Gage County District Court, charged with possessing child pornography.

Scott Buck, Sr. was arrested following an investigation conducted through the Nebraska Attorney General’s Office.   Authorities obtained a search warrant and seized computer equipment used by Buck, allegedly recovering over 250 files of child pornography.  Buck is suspected of using a file sharing program to obtain the material.

Buck is facing three felony charges of possessing child pornography.  It convicted, he could receive up to 60 years in prison.

He waived his right to a preliminary hearing on the charges and is scheduled to be arraigned in Gage County District Court, July 18th.  His appearance bond is set at $25,000 and he remains in custody at the Gage County Jail.

The warrant was served May 22nd, and Buck was arrested in the seventeen hundred block of Park Street, in Beatrice.
