COLUMBUS – Police arrested a man after he allegedly assaulted a 59-year-old man with a pocket knife, say officials.
Columbus Police say in a press release, that they responded to a report of a man being stabbed in Elm’s Trailer Park at 9:07 p.m. on Wednesday. Police say after an investigation, they determined Roberto Garcia, 28, caused serious injury to the 59-year-old.
The 59-year-old was bleeding from a stab wound to the back of the neck and head, said police. The victim was taken to the hospital where he was treated and released, said police.
Garcia was arrested in the 3400 block of 23rd Street for the charges of assault-first degree and use of a weapon to commit a felony, says police.
