WILDERNESS PARK- The Lakeview Viqueens were dominant in the opening round of the Central Conference soccer tournament on Thursday night, as they jumped out early and cruised to a 10-0 win over Crete.
Lakeview came into the tournament as the #2 seed, and showed why with a dominant display of offense.
Senior captain Bailey Sloup scored a goal for the Viqueens, as she increased her team lead.
The game didn’t finish due to the 10 goal rule in Nebraska high school soccer, as it didn’t take the full game for Lakeview to jump out to a 10 goal lead.
The Viqueens will be back in action on Monday night in the semifinals as they will take on the winner of the York-Northwest game.
