KWBE Employee Donates to Locks of Love for Third Time

BEATRICE – For the third time, KWBE’s Kristin Inderlied has taken a common haircut and turned it into a great cause.

The Business Manager donated 14 inches to the non-profit organization, Locks of Love.

“I like my hair long. I like to wear it long, but sometimes after so long, you just can’t do anything with it, so it’s nice to have a change, but also it’s a good cause. I don’t know how much you know about Locks of Love, but basically they use it to make wigs for kids who are under the age of 21 and for whatever medical reason have lost their hair.”

The 14 inches is the most she has donated to the program. Inderlied has also donated 12 and 10 inches, respectively. The haircut was done at the Cutting Edge in Beatrice.

“I just think it’s a good cause, and they require so much. You can’t have bleached hair, but I think if anyone is able and willing, they should do it so that those kids can have a chance.”
