NORFOLK, Neb. – Johnson-Brock High School’s production of “Dark Road” earned them a Class D1 runner-up trophy at the 2017 Nebraska School Activities Association Play Production Championships at the Johnny Carson Theater in Norfolk.

This is the second state trophy the school has claimed this year. The volleyball team won their third-straight state championship last month.

Cast members secured 172 total judges points, two points behind the state champions Humphrey St. Francis and five points ahead of the third-place finishers Wausa.

In addition, senior Brynn Westenburg was named “Outstanding Female Performer.” She was also a member of the state title winning volleyball team.
