Injured Man Found Walking Near Nebraska-Kansas Line

BEATRICE – A man walking from the scene of an injury accident near the Nebraska-Kansas border was checked over but did not require treatment for injuries.

A Gage County Sheriff’s Deputy says Marshall County, Kansas law officers reported a two-vehicle accident north of Oketo, Kansas, late Tuesday night.

Authorities were told a man was walking north of State Line Road along South 108th to Barneston, Nebraska.

Oketo Fire officials located a pickup in the east ditch of the roadway, in a creek.  Authorities say the white-colored Dodge Ram was driven by 41-year-old Timothy Sutter of Liberty, Nebraska.
