BEATRICE – Five days of fun ended at the Gage County Fair and Expo in Beatrice on Sunday.
Events began last week with carnival rides and grandstand shows, which included three night of country music acts from Two-Way Crossing, Josh Turner and Lanco
4-H and FFA members displayed their agriculture arts and crafts, and their talents and skills in livestock shows during the five-day run at the Gage County Fair and Expo.
The biggest night proved to be the Eve of Destruction on Saturday night, which pulled in an attendance of over four-thousand people to watch extreme demolition.
The night began with the Power Wheels demolition derby, followed by the Roll-Over contest, where Jeremy Ziegler upset three-time defending champion, Brock McDougall. The Eve of Destruction concluded with the Trailer Races.
The Gage County Fair and Expo concluded on Sunday with events like the Giddy-Up Pony Races, IMCA Racing and the 4-H Premium Auction.
