Gage County Board Incumbent Wins Challenge, in Seventh District

BEATRICE – Gage County Board incumbent Terry Jurgens, of Odell has held off a challenge from Beatrice City Street Superintendent Jason Moore, winning the Republican nomination for the seventh district supervisor seat.

Jurgens retains his position.  No Democrat filed for the seat.   The final vote total in the election was Jurgens 227, Moore 106.

Meanwhile, Eddie Dorn slipped past Norm Parde Jr. for the Republican nomination for the 1st District Gage County Board seat, 260 to 231.   Dorn will go on to face Democrat Paul Weber in the November election.  Weber was unopposed for the Democratic nomination.
