SCHUYLER – A funeral was held Wednesday morning, for Mark Connealy, who passed away in an accident over the weekend.

A mass for Connealy was held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, and he will be laid to rest in the Schuyler cemetery, according to Svoboda Funeral Home.

“Mark loved his daughters and his family. He could always be found fixing things around the house or working on cars. His faith was very important to him as he always attended daily mass and in his younger years he also enjoyed hunting especially ducks and pheasants,” says Connealy’s obituary.

Connealy, 65, was born in Blair, graduated from Lyons High School in 1971, and married his wife Karen Connealy, in 1983, in Schuyler, says his obituary.
