Frankfort, Kansas Woman Hurt in Car-Semitrailer Collision

BEATRICE – A Frankfort, Kansas woman suffered injuries in a collision between her car and a semitrailer truck, Monday.

The noon hour accident happened at a Kansas Highway 99 intersection, near Frankfort.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reports a car driven by 18-year-old Elizabeth Taylor, of Frankfort, was facing west…when the driver pulled onto the highway, into the path of a semitrailer truck northbound, driven by 47-year-old William Fuller, of Platte City, Missouri.

State patrol investigators say Taylor was taken to Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka, with suspected serious injuries.   Fuller was not injured.

Both drivers were using safety restraints during the collision.
