Falls City Animal Clinic Scheduled for Next Week
Area residents have the chance to license and vaccinate their dogs and cats next Tuesday.

FALLS CITY – Pet owners in the Falls City area have the chance to take care of some annual business next week.

An animal clinic is being set up at the City Fire Department on Tuesday, May 23rd from 6-7 p.m. The clinic allows area residents to license their pets and give them yearly shots, in the same spot.

Animal Health Center staff will be on hand to give out shots and Falls City Police Department staff will issue licenses. According to city ordinance, all dogs and cats are required to be licensed if they’re six months or older. Licenses expire in May every year.

Prices have gone up this year due to rises in the license cost and the USDA tax. Spayed and neutered pets will cost $11 to license. If they are not spayed or neutered, the price is $21 for an annual license.

A rabies vaccination will cost $15.50, other shots may also be available.
