FAIRBURY – The Fairbury School Board took another step toward planned facility improvements Monday with the decision to use a construction manager-at risk approach to the construction. Superintendent Stephen Grizzle said among the options the district had, this one gave them the most control over the construction process.
:10 “…out the construction.”
The district has a number of construction projects it would like to get done in the coming years. Grizzle says this will be the first of multiple phases.
:27 “…project to tackle.”
The next step for the district will be to begin accepting bids from construction companies which will be reviewed by a special committee.
