Fairbury Job Fair On Tuesday Moved To Make Room For More Employers

FAIRBURY–Due to the overwhelming response by employers wanting to be a part of the upcoming Nebraska Department of Labor job fair in Fairbury, the location has moved.  This is a great opportunity for those individuals who are looking for work or those who are considering a career change.   The job fair will still be held thi coming Tuesday, May 22nd from 3 to 5.   However, the location has changed, right down the street at the United Methodist Church at 605 E Street.

The two-hour job fair will give job seekers the chance to meet with 17 different employers who are offering full-time and part-time jobs.  Workforce Coordinator Kari Janssen says it’s important to meet with all of them as you might not know what they have to offer.

Janssen says those attending should dress appropriately and professionally for the event. And she encourages job seekers to bring a number of copies of their resumes.
