Fairbury, Beatrice, Crete compete in York golf invitational Tuesday

YORK – Fairbury, Beatrice and Crete were three out of 18 total JV and varsity teams that competed at the York Golf Invitational Tuesday at the York Country Club.

The Beatrice boys placed 10th with a team score of 346. Andrew Paquette medaled, placing 11th overall with a team-best score of 78.

All of Beatrice’s golfers placed inside the top 50 overall.

Fairbury placed 16th as a team with a total score of 426. The Jeffs completed all 18 holes in 4 hours and 26 minutes, which is a new team PR.

Dalton Peterson led the way for Fairbury, shooting a 94. That placed him 50th out of 90 total golfers.
