Exmark Manufacturing Presents Mowers, to Ballpark and Hospital

BEATRICE – Two area organizations Tuesday received donations of brand new mowers, from Exmark Manufacturing in Beatrice.

In what’s become an annual program to give back to the area, the manufacturer presented new mowers to Fuller Park ball field at Zion Lutheran Church near Pickrell and Jefferson Community Health Center in Fairbury.

Exmark’s Patty Kaufman says Fuller Park is getting a 60-inch Lazer-Z Mower from the company. IMG_0062

Kaufman says this is the 15th year for the Exmark donation program, which provides mowers to two or three organizations in the area each year.  She says the 60-inch mower retails at around $11,800, while the new 48-inch model, with a bag attachment included, comes to nearly $10,000.

This year, Exmark received about a dozen applications to the program, which Kaufman says on average, is about the number the company gets each year.
