Drug Search Warrant Served on Beatrice Residence

BEATRICE – The Gage County Sheriff’s Office and the Beatrice Police Department, executed a search warrant, Thursday morning for illegal drugs at 1400 Scott St., in Beatrice.

The warrant was executed after an investigation involving the occupants at 1400 Scott St., allegedly being involved in illegal controlled substances.

During the search of the residence, beginning at about 9 a.m., investigators located numerous items related to the use and distribution of illegal controlled substances. No occupants of the residence were present at the time of the search.

The Sheriff’s Office got assistance from Beatrice Fire and Rescue and Beatrice Animal Control during the warrant execution.

Criminal charges are pending.   No other information has been released at this time.
