Driver of Vehicle with No Ignition Interlock, Arrested Near Odell

BEATRICE –  Bond has been set at $3,000 for a driver accused of being behind the wheel without a required ignition interlock device.

A Gage County Sheriff’s Deputy conducted a traffic stop on a white cargo van with Kansas plates after observing it traveling in excess of 70 miles-per-hour on Nebraska Highway 8, about four miles west of Odell.  The stop was conducted at the west edge of Odell.   The speed limit on the highway is 60.

The driver of the van, 23-year-old Skylar Srader, was arrested after the deputy found that the driver had a suspended license but could drive with an ignition interlock.   No such device was found in the vehicle.

Srader now faces an April 4th hearing, in Gage County Court.
