Defiant Few Toy Drive Successful

FAIRBURY – The Defiant Few Motorcycle Club held a Toy drive on Black Friday at Maatsch’s Sinclair Station in Fairbury and a location in Beatrice. This is the 10th year that the Defiant Few has put on the toy drive and this year they received lots of toy and money donations. The money will be used to purchase more toys that will be distributed to kids in Jefferson and Gage Counties. As a bonus on Friday, for those who made a donation, Maatsch’s gave them a free hot dog.

Luke Starkey who’s is with another local riding group called the Lords of Ventus volunteered his time on Friday and helped work the Defiant Few’s event.

“It boosts morale around the community, help everybody, and make sure they have a great Christmas.”

The Defiant Few will hold a second toy drive in Fairbury and Beatrice on December 15th and the toys will be distributed after that.
