The Beatrice City Council has approved the bid of Building Tech for a batting complex at Hannibal Park, for $297,140.   The bid of Outdoor Recreation Products has been approved for installing a splash pad at Astro Park, for $104,651.

The pad will be at the north end of Astro Park.  Pethoud says the city plans to move some old playground equipment and install it at some other location in the city. Several funding sources are being used for the water recreation addition.
