COLUMBUS, Neb. – A Columbus man accused of bank fraud will be sentenced next month on a felony conviction related to the case.
Records say 42-year-old Jason Svoboda allegedly scammed banks in Columbus and Lincoln, using the same 2016 Yukon Denali SUV as collateral for two different loans totaling $123,000.
He was convicted of committing fraud in the application for a Nebraska title and could be sentenced to prison on April 20th.
A felony fraud charge was dropped in a plea deal.
