Colorado Man Booked in Columbus on Pot Distribution, Gun Charges

COLUMBUS, Neb. – A Colorado man is accused in Columbus of selling an informant over 350 grams of marijuana in December.

Records say an informant was contacted by 23-year-old Brandon Day that he was coming to Columbus and seeking potential marijuana buyers.

Eventually the informant met Day on December 30th and was given over 12 ounces, or 352 grams of marijuana for $1,350, according to records. The documents also say Day showed the informant a handgun during the purchase.

He was booked for selling pot in possession of a gun, possession of drugs, not using a drug tax stamp, and use of property to violate drug laws.

He heads to court on April 13th.
