Collecting Supplies for Victims in Need
Hope Crisis Center Director Carmen Hinman tells News Channel Nebraska the work her team is doing for Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

FAIRBURY – You can help in filling a van full of supplies needed to assist victims and children of domestic violence.

In recognition of October’s Domestic Violence Awareness Month, the Fairbury Walmart and Hope Crisis Center are working together to get victims what they need.

On Saturday, October 28, shoppers can purchase the items needed off of the supplies list. Hope Crisis Center volunteers will be collecting anything from diapers to paper towels, pillows and gift cards.

The van will be parked outside of the store from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
