Coats For Needy Kids, in Beatrice

BEATRICE – Some needy Beatrice elementary students will be able to stay warm, this fall and winter season.  Wednesday, the Beatrice Fire Department and the local Knights of Columbus chapter handed out free coats to kids, at Paddock Lane Elementary.

Firefighters Jeff Hays and Tom Moody says the department this year partnered with the Knights, to raise funds and purchase the coats.  Hays says the effort continues, if any children were missed.
