COLUMBUS – Columbus High students got the chance to explore the various career opportunities offered in the area, thanks to the 8th Annual CHS Career Fair.
Students made their way throughout the gym Monday talking and asking questions to various exhibitors from local businesses, as well as representatives form Nebraska colleges and universities. Columbus High Senior Trey Rinkol says he plans on heading to Doane College where he is going to play baseball and sing in the choir.
“A lot of the schools I’ve seen, are a lot of the schools I’ve visited and it’s good to get reassurance about what I’m doing and what they told me on my visits are the same they’re telling me here,” says Rinkol.
Students from Immanuel Lutheran also attended the fair which ran from just after 11 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. The fair was organized by Columbus High Counselor Kevin Lewindowski and will be held again next year.
