The Best Possible Summer program is based at Paddock Lane Elementary School, and will also use the Beatrice Middle School for upper grade students.  Nielsen says the program encourages students to find out how subjects they study apply to the real world, while having fun along the way.

This summer, the program will run June 4th through the 28th, Monday through Thursday, with a morning session from 8:30 until 11:30.   A new afternoon session from noon until four is being offered this year, in conjunction with the Beatrice Educational Foundation.

Dr. Nielsen says the Best Possible Summer program picks up some additional space, next year.
