Beatrice Police Arrest Third Suspect in Residential Burglary

BEATRICE –  Beatrice Police have arrested the third of four suspects in an October 13th home invasion burglary, in west Beatrice.

Joshua May was arrested by police at around 6:30 p.m., at an apartment in the 400 block of North 4th.  He was arrested on an active warrant for possession of methamphetamine.

May is also suspected of burglary, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person and possession of a stolen firearm.

An AR-15 rifle and a CO-two pistol were taken in the residential burglary, in the 900 block of West Mary.  Both weapons were recovered at a home where the suspects were staying.

Police earlier arrested suspects Chance Thigpen and Logan Retherford.  They are searching for a fourth man.
