BEATRICE – A man with drunken driving convictions and other driving violations in two states, is going to prison in Nebraska.
53-year-old Randall Ray was sentenced to serve three years in prison, on convictions in two Gage County District Court cases, by Judge Rick Schreiner. Ray was sentenced for third offense refusal to submit to alcohol testing, driving without an ignition interlock, having fictitious plates and driving with a revoked license.
The judge noted a list of prior violations in Lancaster County, Nebraska and in Salina, Abilene and Goodland, Kansas.

Schreiner said the criminal history dated back to 1983.
Following prison, Ray will serve 18 months post-release supervision. The Gage County Attorney’s office dismissed six other counts against Ray, as part of a plea agreement covering the two cases.
Ray was arrested following a Nebraska State Patrol traffic stop along East Court Street in Beatrice, last March 29th.
