Beatrice Man Arrested for Driving Under Revocation Felony

BEATRICE – A 56-year-old man with a history of license revocation has been arrested on suspicion of felony driving on a revoked license and having no valid registration.

A Beatrice Police officer Monday night stopped the vehicle being driven by Larry Alvarez in the 400-block of North 6th, because the vehicle had expired tags.  Police found that Alvarez was on a 15-year license revocation, which began August 26th, 2002.   That revocation was ordered following a conviction for third-offense driving under the influence of alcohol.

Alvarez has two other convictions for driving on a revoked license.  His Gage County Court appearance bond is set at $5,000 and a court proceeding is scheduled for November 22nd.

As part of his bond, Alvarez was ordered not to drive a motor vehicle for any reason.
