Beatrice High School Holds Veterans Day Observance

BEATRICE – Beatrice High School hosted a Veterans Day ceremony at the Hevelone Center, Monday morning…honoring those who have served in the armed forces and remembering those who gave everything for their country.

It was being held this year on the 100th anniversary of Armistice Day and the end of World War One.

Giving the Veterans Day Address was Retired Command Sergeant Major Richard Burch, with the U.S. Army and the Army National Guard… a 38-year-veteran.  Since retiring, he’s served with the Veterans Benefits Administration and as an employment consultant for veterans.
