Beatrice High School Class of 2017, Graduates This Sunday

BEATRICE – Beatrice High School seniors will be receiving their diplomas this Sunday during graduation ceremonies at the O-Zone.  High School principal Jason Sutter says each graduating senior will receive an allotment of tickets for family members and friends to attend the 3 p-m ceremony, Sunday.

Doors to the O-Zone will open on Sunday at 2pm for ticket holders. The non-ticket holders will be allowed in the gym, starting at 2:30 p. m.

Sutter says seating will be available in the O-Zone and in the Hevelone Center on Sunday.

As in the past, graduation ceremonies will include several speeches by members of the senior class. Sutter takes time during the ceremony to offer his own thoughts about the graduating seniors. For the class of 2-thousand-17, Sutter says he has enjoyed being around the students for the past four years.

As the school year comes to an end, Superintendent Pat Nauroth says planning for next year begins.

Since a large crowd is expected on Sunday, Sutter is encouraging those attending to car pool with family and friends to help alleviate any parking issues.
