A deputy was sent to check on a woman seen walking along Locust Road, with what appeared to be a bleeding hand.   Authorities say the victim and suspect were traveling west in a vehicle on Locust Road, when the male driver allegedly struck the woman, and kicked her out the door of the vehicle. Authorities learned that a vehicle door had been slammed on the woman’s hand.

An ambulance was summoned to the scene, but the woman was not transported for medical treatment.  Thornburgh was later arrested on suspicion of 1st-degree domestic assault.
