BEATRICE – Beatrice Community Hospital is hiring a Kansas City, Missouri firm to aid in the search for a new Chief Executive Officer.
Hospital officials have announced that Gallagher MSA Search will work with a local 15-member CEO search committee, seeking to fill the position left vacant by the resignation in January, of Tom Sommers. Chief Medical Officer Dr. John Findley has been serving as Interim CEO.
Beatrice Community Hospital Board Chairman Mitch Deines says the search process will include input from hospital employees and members of the community, and is likely to take about six to nine months.
Gallagher MSA Search is a division of Gallagher Benefit Services Inc…and part of Arthur J. Gallagher and Company. Deines said in a statement from the hospital that the executive search firm understands the culture of Nebraska and the Midwest and has the resources to help recruit a new CEO that is “the right fit for our hospital and for our community”.
