FALLS CITY – Armbruster Motor Company has been needing more space in their service department for awhile now, and as of a couple weeks ago, they’re on their way to getting it.
The idea of expanding Armbruster Motor Company has been in the works for about 8 to 10 years. The expansion process has already started, and depending on the weather and some other factors, the new facility will hopefully be up and running this coming summer.
The primary area for expansion will be in the service and parts department, but there will be a small showroom and some offices in the new area.
“Vehicles are getting bigger and bigger and heavier, and our lifts that we have aren’t capable of holding some of these heavier trucks that we work on, on a daily basis. We need more space, we need taller roofs, we need longer bays, and heavier lifts to work on those vehicles,” said General Manager of Armbruster Motor Company, Andy Armbruster.
Andy goes on to explain that the company isn’t the only one that’s going to benefit from this expansion, the customers are going to appreciate it also.
With this expansion, Armbruster Motor Company hopes to create a service drive feature that’ll make it easier to get in and out of the facility for the customer. Armbruster Motor Company also hopes to have an area to better inspect a customer’s vehicle as they come through.
“We’re looking forward to being able to service more vehicles and more customers, and if you haven’t been one of our service customers, I encourage you to try us out. Once this new facility gets up and running, we should have ultra-competitive prices and the capacity to handle almost anyone’s needs,” said Andy.
