Applications are now being accepted for a long running program at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
The Nebraska Agricultural Leadership Council…or better known as LEAD….is now accepting applications for its 38th class. Director of the program Terry Hejney says the program continues to promote and develop leadership skills of those who participate in the two year program…

Hejney says the program will accept up to 30 men and women who will participate in the program that involves workshops and travel seminars….

Hejney says the program helps participants increase their knowledge of state, national and international affairs. He says it aids in developing leadership skills and exposes the person to a number of topics and issues facing agriculture today.

In addition to filling out an application, Henjey says there is an interview process that will take place mid-summer before participants are selected. Applications are due June 15th.
