2018 Fairbury Chamber of Commerce Was A Night Of Laughs

It was a night of laughs and awards at the annual Fairbury Chamber of Commerce Banquet held Friday night at the Elks Club in Fairbury.   Sharon Priefert, Executive Director of the Chamber, said this year was the biggest event as it keeps growing every year.  “We sold over 250 tickets for the night, and the place was packed.”

Ol Red 99-5’s T-Man, Trevor Steinmeyer hosted the event, and with the help of the chamber board members, entertained the large crowd.

As always, the annual awards were given out.   Mark Kettelhut was chosen for volunteer of the year, which is given to an individual who volunteers their time and talents to chamber-sponsored events.     Diane Schutt was awarded the Community Service award for her many years of volunteering for the Fairbury community.

The Fairbury Chamber of Commerce Banquet is held every year on the first Friday of February.
