LINCOLN — Nebraska forward Isaiah Roby is one of 60 players invited to the NBA Combine.
Roby confirmed the news via text late on Saturday night. He received the invite via e-mail on Friday.
Roby entered into the NBA Draft after his junior season in which he averaged 11 points and 6.9 rebounds. He has until May 29 to decide to return to school.
Roby has spent much of the last two weeks in Chicago preparing for the Draft. When he has been in Lincoln, Fred Hoiberg has been helping Roby out with NBA drills. Hoiberg was the head coach of the Chicago Bulls for four years and played in the NBA for a decade.
Roby has hired an agent, and still has until May 29 to decide to return to school. The 6-foot-8, 230-pound Roby is currently projected to be a mid to late second round pick.
