After loss to Iowa, Huskers drop but remain ranked among Top 25 teams in both college football polls

Despite a 40-10 loss to Iowa on Friday, the Huskers remained among the Top 25 teams in both college football polls in the latest rankings released Sunday.

Nebraska dropped seven spots in the Coaches Top 25 Poll to 22nd and six spots in the AP Top 25 Poll to 23rd.

With its victory, Iowa moved up to 25th in the Coaches Poll and to 22nd in the AP Poll; it had previously been unranked in both.

Alabama remained the unanimous No. 1 team in both polls. Three Big Ten teams were among the top 6 in AP and the Coaches Polls: Ohio State, No. 2 in both; Michigan, fifth in AP and sixth in Coaches; and Wisconsin, No. 6 in AP and No. 5 in the Coaches Poll.
