Dec. 19 (UPI) — A cow led a New York state police officer on a slow-speed chase when it refused to stop in a case of “failure to comply resulting in a pursuit.”

The Cicero Police Department posted a video to Facebook filmed by Officer John Cottrell as he drove behind the cow Sunday night on Route 31 in Bridgeport.

“This cow is choosing not to stop for me,” Cottrell says in the video. “I think I can take ’em.”

The post described the incident as “a failure to comply resulting in a pursuit.”

The cow was eventually captured and police located its home at Lyons Farms on Bull Street.
