JOHNSON, NE – Two-time defending state champions Johnson-Brock will be sending one of their own to play volleyball in college.
Earlier this year, senior Kacie Hahn signed her letter of intent to play Libero or Defensive Specialist at Nebraska Wesleyan.
“She (Hahn) excelled her last two years in passing and all areas of defense,” Johnson-Brock Head Coach Tera Stutheit said. “She worked to improve this aspect of her game in the off-season by attending camps and clinics.”
The two-year team captain finished with 304 kills, 760 digs, 94 blocks and 72 aces in 225 career sets with the Eagles. She was also a member of the back-to-back state championship teams in 2015 and 2016.
According to Stutheit, Hahn’s leadership extended to the court, in the locker room and in team huddles.
“She is certainly going to be an asset for Wesleyan and we all wish her the very best,” Stutheit said.
Hahn plans to major in Exercise Science and continue into Physical Therapy.
