Southeast Community College Sophomore, Noah Hofman, Places Third At NJCAA National Golf Tournament

FOLEY, AL – Southeast Community College sophomore, Noah Hofman earned a third-place finish at the NJCAA National Tournament at Glen Lakes Golf Club in Foley, Alabama.

Hofman carded a six-under par in the four rounds, which was one stroke behind Jeff Miller of South Mountain Community College and two shots behind individual champion Leon D’Souza of South Mountain.

Hofman, from McCook Nebraska, was named a second-team All-American and a member of the West All-Region Team before the National Tournament.

SCC teammate, Kean Kontor, tied for 27th by shooting a nine-over par for the tournament and Jordan Greenwood finished in a tie for 43rd by carding a 14-over par.

Tyler Schafer carded a 34-over par, while Braden Wheeler rounded out the Storm scoring at 38-over par.

Southeast Community College placed 8th in the team standings, as Mississippi Gulf Coast claimed their first team championship by shooting nine-under in the final round to finish one-stroke better than Meridian College.
