SCC Golfer Noah Hofman Leads National Tournament Field

FOLEY, AL – Southeast Community College sophomore, Noah Hofman was tied with Jeff Miller of South Mountain Community College at the top of the leaderboard heading into the final round of the NJCAA National Golf Tournament at Glen Lakes Golf Club in Foley, Alabama.

Hofman, from McCook Nebraska, and Miller were six-under par after three rounds, one stroke ahead of two other golfers and three shots ahead of the 5th place golfer.

Southeast teammate, Kean Kontor, was tied for 18th place with eight other golfers at six-over par, while Jordan Greenwood was 15-over par after three rounds.

Tyler Schaefer was 23-over and Braden Wheeler rounded out the Storm scoring at 34-over par heading into the final round.

SCC was in 8th place in the team standing at 36-over par, 14 shots behind 7th place Tyler, Texas and six-strokes in front of 9th place Rend Lake College.
