The Pickrell Locker and Smokehouse has started processing meats and owner Bob Freeman has big plans for the future. Nearly two years in the making, a new building and all the necessary equipment for operation is in place. Expect a small scale market to be in place in the very near future.

Freeman is optimistic about the future, with the location being a big factor in his decision to build a mile east of highway 77. He’s always had a passion for the work and is now realizing his dream as the business is up and running.
