Pawnee County Fair 2017 Schedules Carnival, Pulls and Parade

PAWNEE CITY – The Pawnee County Fair is scheduled Aug. 9-12 with a carnival, Nebraska Truck and Tractor Pullers, draft horse pull and McClain’s Mutton Busters.

Events begin Wednesday with swine and horse shows, followed by a garden tractor pull.
On Thursday, the poultry show begins at noon. A 7 p.m. draft horse pull is followed by team penning. The far parade is at 6 p.m. Thursday.
Friday’s events include the Strathman band, kids ranch rodeo and Nebraska Truck and Tractor Pullers.
Wednesday, Aug. 9
8:30 a.m., swine show
1 p.m., horse show
4:30 p.m., horse show riding
6 p.m., garden tractor pull

Thursday, Aug. 10
8 a.m., horse show speed
Noon, poultry show
6 p.m., parade
7 p.m. draft horse pull
7:30 p.m., team penning
Friday, Aug. 11
8 a.m., beef show
11 a.m., sheep show
Noon, goat show
7 p.m., Nebraska Truck and Tractor Pullers
7 p.m. McClains Mutton Busters and Kid’s Ranch Rodeo
9 p.m. Strathman Band

Saturday, Aug. 12
8 a.m., rabbit show, livestock sale
