Nebraska High School Football Playoffs

Beatrice has a rare opportunity to avenge their only loss of the season when the 7th-seed Orangemen play host to 10th-seed Elkhorn this Friday at the House of Orange in the opening round of the Class-B playoffs.

The Antlers won in Beatrice, 38-21, on September 8th in the third game of season.

2nd-seed Fairbury takes an unbeaten record into the Class C-1 playoffs, when the 9-0 Jeffs play host to 15th-seed Pierce on Friday.  The Bluejays are 5-4.

Wilber-Clatonia will open defense of their Class C-2 State Championship at home this Friday against Battle Creek.  The 8th-seed Wolverines are 8-1, while the 9th-seed Braves enter the post-season with a 6-3 record.

The eight-man football playoffs kickoff on Thursday.

In Class D-1, 8th-seed Diller-Odell is home to 9th-seed Plainview. The Griffins are 6-2 and the Pirates are 4-4.

In Class D-2, 8th-seed Meridian travels to 9th-seed Randolph. The Mustangs finished the regular season with a 5-3 record, while Randolph is 6-2.

2nd-seed and undefeated Bruning-Davenport-Shickley will host 15th-seed Pawnee City.  3rd-seed and once-beaten Friend is home to 14th-seed Allen.

Exeter-Milligan plays at top-seed Bloomfield.
