Lakeview Alumnus Jack Shadley Hired as Sandy Creek Head Coach

FAIRFIELD – Lakeview alumnus and Doane University Football standout, Jack Shadley, has landed himself a head coaching job in south-central Nebraska.

Jack Shadley was a 2016 All-GPAC honorable mention for Doane University at Quarterback, and also earned Offensive Player of the Week honors twice during the same season. The Tigers also made appearances in the playoffs in 2015 and 2016, with a record of 18-4 during the timespan.

Shadley underwent a back surgery in June, before his 2017 Senior season.

During his time as a Lakeview Viking, Shadley set every passing record for the school and  threw for 5,671 yards with 63 touchdowns, while earning several, Conference, District, and State honors.

Shadley will head-up the football program at Sandy Creek, and will also teach high school P.E., said a Sandy Creek official.
