Johnson-Brock athletics, fine arts near top of “Best of the Best” list

JOHNSON – Johnson-Brock High School finished only behind Shickley in the Nebraska School Activities Association Cup Class D All-School Standings released on Wednesday.

The annual awards program, which began in 2007 to recognize the state’s most successful high school athletic and fine arts programs, is presented to the 12 Nebraska high schools that have earned the most points during the school year by participating in NSAA education based activity programs.

The Eagles scored 265 points in the all-class standing. Shickley won the cup with 275.

Johnson Brock was third in the girls standings with 165 points and second in the boys standings with 195.

The all-activities (fine arts and sports), all-school recognition platform recognizes the “Best of the Best” each year in NSAA programs.
